Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which rose 2.62% or 1.15 points to trade at 45.10 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 2.34% or 1.55 points to end at 67.90 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 1.92% or 6.10 points to 323.77 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which lost 1.97% or 4.6 points to trade at 228.9 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 1.82% or 4.50 points to end at 243.40 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) shed 1.73% or 3.3 points to 187.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 85 and 32 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.32% or 0.18 to $57.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $63.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1258.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.08% to 9.8780, while USD/NOK rose 1.06% to 8.3856.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 93.81.
