Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD), which rose 2.18% or 2.95 points to trade at 138.05 at the close. Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) added 1.29% or 14.00 points to end at 1,100.00 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 1.02% or 0.95 points to 94.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which lost 6.61% or 4.50 points to trade at 63.60 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 4.08% or 8.00 points to end at 188.00 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) shed 2.99% or 3.40 points to 110.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 182 to 100 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.56% or 0.42 to $75.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.64% or 0.50 to hit $78.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 10.70 to trade at $2,542.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 11.66, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 100.86.
