Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Capital Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 5.69% or 0.72 points to trade at 13.37 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.07% or 3.80 points to end at 187.80 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) was up 1.75% or 0.17 points to 9.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 2.22% or 1.50 points to trade at 66.00 in late trade. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.76% or 0.55 points to end at 30.67 and Statoil ASA (OL:STL) shed 1.49% or 2.5 points to 165.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 79 and 27 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.05 to $54.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.26% or 0.16 to hit $60.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.50 to trade at $1270.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.42% to 9.5346, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 8.1805.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.43.
