Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR), which rose 1.03% or 0.75 points to trade at 73.65 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) added 0.93% or 2.40 points to end at 261.60 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 0.39% or 0.50 points to 128.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which lost 1.99% or 2.90 points to trade at 142.95 in late trade. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 1.48% or 4.10 points to end at 272.80 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) shed 1.26% or 14.00 points to 1,096.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 155 to 126 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.34% or 0.26 to $77.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.20% or 0.16 to hit $81.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 24.35 to trade at $2,431.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was unchanged 0.01% to 11.96, while USD/NOK rose 0.09% to 11.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 103.92.
