Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Auto & components and Healthcare Equipment & Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV), which rose 5.22% or 3.75 points to trade at 75.60 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 3.54% or 0.45 points to end at 13.16 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.31% or 0.74 points to 32.84 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which lost 3.49% or 1.50 points to trade at 41.67 in late trade. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) declined 3.00% or 6.9 points to end at 223.0 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) shed 1.76% or 2.70 points to 150.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 65 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.43% or 0.25 to $58.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.79 to trade at $1291.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.03% to 9.6358, while USD/NOK fell 0.28% to 8.1310.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 93.05.
