Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Media sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 3.72% or 0.87 points to trade at 24.25 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 1.27% or 2.10 points to end at 168.00 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) was up 0.74% or 1.3 points to 177.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC), which lost 4.84% or 5.1 points to trade at 100.2 in late trade. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) declined 3.42% or 1.47 points to end at 41.45 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 3.03% or 1.95 points to 62.35.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 67 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.25% or 1.47 to $63.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.04% or 1.42 to hit $68.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.18% or 15.90 to trade at $1326.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 1.08% to 9.6800, while USD/NOK rose 1.58% to 7.8400.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.56% at 89.46.
