Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Commercial Service And Supplies and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY), which rose 3.15% or 1.58 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) added 1.55% or 0.23 points to end at 15.08 and Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) was up 1.12% or 2.3 points to 207.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 3.11% or 8.10 points to trade at 252.40 in late trade. Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC) declined 2.11% or 0.12 points to end at 5.57 and DnB ASA (OL:DNB) shed 1.96% or 3.0 points to 149.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 112 to 65 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.78% or 1.89 to $65.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.84% or 0.63 to hit $74.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1303.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.54% to 9.5826, while USD/NOK rose 1.21% to 8.2952.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 94.73.
