Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which rose 1.30% or 3.40 points to trade at 265.40 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKRBP) added 0.77% or 1.70 points to end at 221.70 and Var Energi ASA (OL:VAR) was up 0.74% or 0.26 points to 35.29 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 4.99% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.70 in late trade. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 1.74% or 2.60 points to end at 146.60 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) shed 1.70% or 1.72 points to 99.58.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 146 to 137 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.01% or 0.71 to $71.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.77% or 0.57 to hit $74.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 16.09 to trade at $2,615.81 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 11.81, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 11.38.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 108.12.
