Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Telecoms and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 2.92% or 2.55 points to trade at 90.00 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 2.50% or 1.5 points to end at 60.6 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.93% or 0.66 points to 34.88 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which lost 3.67% or 15.60 points to trade at 410.00 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 2.57% or 0.02 points to end at 0.78 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 1.41% or 1.15 points to 80.55.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 90 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.28% or 0.19 to $67.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.15% or 0.11 to hit $74.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.10 to trade at $1195.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.09% to 9.6811, while USD/NOK rose 0.33% to 8.3686.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 95.36.
