Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Materials, Healthcare Equipment & Services and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were SalMar ASA (OL:SALM), which rose 2.65% or 10.40 points to trade at 403.20 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 1.67% or 1.0 points to end at 60.9 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 1.18% or 1.05 points to 90.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 3.23% or 10.00 points to trade at 300.00 in late trade. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 2.02% or 1.04 points to end at 50.50 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) shed 1.73% or 1.30 points to 73.76.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 96 to 90 and 19 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.32% or 0.22 to $67.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.24% or 0.18 to hit $74.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.30 to trade at $1323.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.26% to 9.6502, while USD/NOK fell 0.31% to 7.9695.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 91.44.
