Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Utilities, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Questerre Energy Corporation (OL:QEC), which rose 7.82% or 0.50 points to trade at 6.89 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 3.64% or 11.00 points to end at 312.80 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 2.24% or 3.50 points to 160.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which lost 2.34% or 1.70 points to trade at 71.00 in late trade. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) declined 1.58% or 0.82 points to end at 51.24 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) shed 1.14% or 1.4 points to 117.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 85 and 24 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.47% or 0.91 to $61.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.11% or 0.73 to hit $64.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.40 to trade at $1318.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.11% to 9.5614, while USD/NOK fell 0.19% to 7.7626.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 90.01.
