Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI), which rose 4.23% or 3.55 points to trade at 87.55 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) added 3.65% or 5.15 points to end at 146.25 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) was up 3.57% or 2.30 points to 66.65 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM), which lost 3.37% or 4.50 points to trade at 129.00 in late trade. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFG) declined 1.90% or 3.70 points to end at 191.10 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) shed 1.78% or 15.50 points to 855.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 148 to 128 and 37 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.17% or 0.14 to $80.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $84.24 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 22.05 to trade at $2,308.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.27% to 11.40, while USD/NOK rose 0.59% to 10.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 105.68.
