Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR), which rose 3.19% or 9.40 points to trade at 304.00 at the close. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) added 2.88% or 1.90 points to end at 67.80 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) was up 2.49% or 2.90 points to 119.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which lost 1.99% or 0.11 points to trade at 5.52 in late trade. Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) declined 0.50% or 1.50 points to end at 298.30 and Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:NOD) shed 0.25% or 0.35 points to 137.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 183 to 106 and 25 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.91% or 1.47 to $78.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.47% or 1.17 to hit $80.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 19.80 to trade at $2,493.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.31% to 11.77, while USD/NOK fell 0.19% to 10.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.00.
