Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Diversified Financials and Capital Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.79% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 3.94% or 0.39 points to trade at 10.30 at the close. Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) added 2.55% or 4.30 points to end at 173.20 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 2.32% or 8.8 points to 387.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 2.61% or 6.1 points to trade at 227.3 in late trade. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) declined 1.96% or 7.20 points to end at 360.70 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) shed 1.35% or 0.7 points to 49.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 64 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.07% or 1.09 to $53.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.70% or 1.01 to hit $60.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.30 to trade at $1272.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.42% to 9.4797, while USD/NOK rose 0.18% to 8.1858.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 94.94.
