Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX gained 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 5.70% or 0.27 points to trade at 4.99 at the close. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) added 2.50% or 13.50 points to end at 553.50 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) was up 1.66% or 2.30 points to 140.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO), which lost 2.92% or 4.10 points to trade at 136.10 in late trade. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 0.45% or 0.70 points to end at 155.50 and Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) shed 0.40% or 0.30 points to 75.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 172 to 111 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.82% or 0.56 to $68.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.87% or 0.62 to hit $72.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 12.65 to trade at $2,655.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.22% to 11.76, while USD/NOK rose 0.34% to 10.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 100.24.
