Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Food, Beverages & Tobacco, Capital Goods and Auto & components sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA), which rose 5.48% or 27.50 points to trade at 529.00 at the close. Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) added 5.11% or 3.6 points to end at 73.2 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 3.14% or 3.60 points to 118.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC), which lost 2.87% or 6.70 points to trade at 226.70 in late trade. Norwegian Finans Holding ASA (OL:NOFI) declined 1.73% or 1.75 points to end at 99.35 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) shed 1.08% or 0.78 points to 71.68.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 99 to 82 and 20 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $75.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $85.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.45% or 17.30 to trade at $1209.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.01% to 9.4383, while USD/NOK rose 0.14% to 8.1616.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 95.01.
