Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Diversified Financials, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 3.02% or 2.20 points to trade at 75.00 at the close. P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) added 2.93% or 14.50 points to end at 509.50 and Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) was up 1.48% or 1.50 points to 102.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which lost 2.41% or 7.4 points to trade at 299.4 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 1.23% or 0.19 points to end at 15.29 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) shed 1.11% or 0.01 points to 0.67.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 86 and 34 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.99% or 0.68 to $69.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.36% or 0.28 to hit $78.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 8.30 to trade at $1199.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.01% to 9.6059, while USD/NOK rose 0.32% to 8.2450.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 94.82.
