Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Media, Auto & components and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 3.07% or 0.96 points to trade at 32.25 at the close. Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) added 2.59% or 5.7 points to end at 225.6 and Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) was up 2.44% or 1.60 points to 67.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 2.93% or 0.37 points to trade at 12.26 in late trade. Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) declined 2.53% or 2.00 points to end at 77.00 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) shed 2.28% or 3.30 points to 141.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 95 to 74 and 32 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.14% or 0.66 to $57.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.14% or 0.72 to hit $62.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.82% or 10.59 to trade at $1284.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.05% to 9.7671, while USD/NOK fell 0.09% to 8.2371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 93.12.
