Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Construction & Building Materials and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were S2M (CS:S2M), which rose 7.41% or 20.00 points to trade at 290.00 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) added 5.76% or 6.80 points to end at 124.80 and Snep (CS:SNP) was up 5.31% or 27.30 points to 541.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Colorado (CS:COL), which lost 4.93% or 3.50 points to trade at 67.50 in late trade. Taslif (CS:TSF1) declined 3.29% or 0.85 points to end at 24.95 and Agma Lahlou-Tazi (CS:AGMA) shed 3.11% or 84 points to 2616.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 17 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.69% or 0.32 to $46.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.49% or 0.24 to hit $48.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.39 to trade at $1233.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 11.0340, while USD/MAD rose 0.01% to 9.6186.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.95.
