Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM), which rose 9.51% or 24.50 points to trade at 282.00 at the close. M2M Group (CS:M2M) added 7.88% or 23.00 points to end at 315.00 and IB Maroc Com SA (CS:IBC) was up 5.03% or 4.60 points to 96.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AFMA SA (CS:AFM), which lost 4.69% or 46 points to trade at 934 in late trade. Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) declined 2.74% or 38.0 points to end at 1350.0 and Miniere Touissit (CS:CMT) shed 1.96% or 26 points to 1303.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.06% or 0.03 to $49.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $52.13 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.21 to trade at $1266.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.29% to 10.8340, while USD/MAD fell 0.46% to 9.8954.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 98.58.
