Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Utilities and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Lesieur Cristal (CS:LESU), which rose 5.40% or 7.65 points to trade at 149.35 at the close. Med Paper (CS:PAP) added 4.90% or 0.98 points to end at 20.99 and Label Vie (CS:LBV) was up 3.24% or 60 points to 1910 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS:SOND), which lost 6.76% or 37 points to trade at 509 in late trade. Taslif (CS:TSF1) declined 5.80% or 1.45 points to end at 23.55 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) shed 5.34% or 12.85 points to 228.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 12 and 9 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.22% or 0.85 to $70.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.32% or 0.25 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.40 to trade at $1208.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.02% to 10.9720, while USD/MAD fell 0.11% to 9.3897.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.09.
