Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Pharmaceutical Industry and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were CTM (CSE:CTM), which rose 6.39% or 39.60 points to trade at 659.60 at the close. Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM) added 5.81% or 26.15 points to end at 476.00 and Delta Holding S.A (CSE:DHO) was up 3.67% or 1.98 points to 55.99 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lesieur Cristal (CSE:LES), which lost 3.47% or 9.90 points to trade at 275.05 in late trade. Med Paper (CSE:MDP) declined 3.15% or 0.67 points to end at 20.60 and Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) shed 2.87% or 3.10 points to 104.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 33 to 14 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.32% or 1.70 to $74.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.36% or 1.81 to hit $78.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.53% or 13.95 to trade at $2,639.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.18% to 10.74, while USD/MAD fell 0.15% to 9.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 102.79.
