Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Utilities and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Jet Contractors (CSE:JET), which rose 9.94% or 126.00 points to trade at 1,394.00 at the close. M2M Group (CSE:M2M) added 8.63% or 43.70 points to end at 550.00 and SMI (CSE:SMI) was up 6.19% or 130.00 points to 2,230.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC), which lost 9.97% or 3.78 points to trade at 34.12 in late trade. Miniere Touissit (CSE:CMT) declined 9.94% or 158.00 points to end at 1,432.00 and Nationale d’Electrolyse et de Petrochimie Ste SA (CSE:SNP) shed 5.00% or 25.00 points to 475.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 16 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.96% or 0.66 to $69.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.75% or 0.55 to hit $73.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 4.05 to trade at $2,734.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.15% to 10.76, while USD/MAD rose 0.41% to 9.91.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 103.68.
