Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.06% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 4.88% or 13.6 points to trade at 292.1 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.05% or 180 points to end at 8970 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 2.03% or 170 points to 8550 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 2.20% or 5.20 points to trade at 230.80 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.85% or 6.8 points to end at 361.1 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.62% or 9.5 points to 576.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 57 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.26% or 0.98 to $42.43 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.15% or 0.96 to hit $43.79 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.35 to trade at $1225.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.98% to 6.9260, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.94% at 99.92.
