Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 1.17% or 75 points to trade at 6510 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) added 1.10% or 0.6 points to end at 55.0 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 1.05% or 25 points to 2402 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which lost 2.72% or 520.0 points to trade at 18600.0 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.91% or 220 points to end at 11300 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) shed 1.75% or 460 points to 25790.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 230 to 184 and 6 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.37% or 0.62 to $45.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.30% or 0.62 to hit $48.41 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.59 to trade at $1223.29 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.61% to 3.5306, while EUR/ILS rose 1.15% to 4.0263.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 95.67.
