Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 1.27% or 2.4 points to trade at 191.7 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) added 0.99% or 0.4 points to end at 41.0 and Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) was up 0.84% or 16 points to 1917 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 4.64% or 101 points to trade at 2075 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 4.19% or 71 points to end at 1624 and Poalim (TA:POLI) shed 3.24% or 88 points to 2627.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 239 to 150 and 23 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.44% or 0.31 to $70.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.15% or 0.12 to hit $78.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.74% or 8.90 to trade at $1197.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.6209, while EUR/ILS fell 0.34% to 4.1839.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 95.51.
