Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 3.69% or 61.00 points to trade at 1,712.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 3.23% or 67.00 points to end at 2,142.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 3.09% or 1,330.00 points to 44,410.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 7.07% or 3,060.00 points to trade at 40,220.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 5.77% or 4,590.00 points to end at 75,010.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) shed 1.87% or 280.00 points to 14,660.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 266 to 171 and 102 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.68% or 0.55 to $80.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.67% or 0.57 to hit $84.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 12.70 to trade at $2,472.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.16% to 3.64, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.04% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 103.66.
