Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 7.76% or 54.60 points to trade at 757.90 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.60% or 120.00 points to end at 4,731.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.08% or 8.80 points to 432.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which lost 6.52% or 390.00 points to trade at 5,595.00 in late trade. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) declined 4.98% or 131.00 points to end at 2,502.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) shed 3.73% or 52.00 points to 1,343.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 249 to 194 and 96 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.93% or 0.76 to $82.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.88% or 0.75 to hit $85.75 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 7.00 to trade at $2,332.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.10% to 3.76, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.08% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 105.58.
