Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Banking and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 2.90% or 31 points to trade at 1100 at the close. Liveperson (TA:LPSN) added 2.77% or 290 points to end at 10750 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 1.94% or 126 points to 6630 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 3.62% or 30 points to trade at 807 in late trade. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) declined 2.15% or 1800 points to end at 82000 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) shed 2.14% or 1050 points to 48020.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 294 to 107 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.43% or 2.18 to $61.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.76% or 1.99 to hit $70.19 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.55 to trade at $1272.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.5985, while EUR/ILS rose 0.07% to 4.0221.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.560.
