Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Biomed and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which rose 2.84% or 290 points to trade at 10490 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 2.43% or 6.3 points to end at 266.0 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 1.85% or 94 points to 5166 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TA:PHOE1), which lost 3.10% or 65 points to trade at 2030 in late trade. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL) declined 2.85% or 1210 points to end at 41290 and Harel (TA:HARL) shed 2.84% or 70 points to 2395.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 270 to 110 and 39 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.12% or 0.07 to $59.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.27% or 0.18 to hit $66.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 9.05 to trade at $1327.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.6296, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 4.1058.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.058.
