Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT), which rose 1.87% or 38 points to trade at 2065 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 1.42% or 30 points to end at 2137 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 1.33% or 96 points to 7341 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which lost 3.94% or 43 points to trade at 1047 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 2.65% or 810 points to end at 29780 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) shed 2.33% or 1350 points to 56650.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 219 to 165 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $57.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.27% or 0.17 to hit $62.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.50 to trade at $1266.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.4969, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 4.1362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 93.34.
