Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 2.02% or 46 points to trade at 2320 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 1.65% or 770.0 points to end at 47470.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 1.44% or 2.7 points to 190.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which lost 3.00% or 250 points to trade at 8096 in late trade. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) declined 2.66% or 1110 points to end at 40640 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 2.25% or 32 points to 1392.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 192 to 187 and 28 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.06% or 0.71 to $67.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.03% or 0.75 to hit $73.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.10 to trade at $1205.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.6842, while EUR/ILS fell 0.57% to 4.1897.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 96.34.
