Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Biomed, Real Estate and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.22% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 2.99% or 830.00 points to trade at 28,550.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.82% or 2,060.00 points to end at 75,030.00 and Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) was up 1.85% or 108.00 points to 5,938.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which lost 3.27% or 63.00 points to trade at 1,863.00 in late trade. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 2.68% or 21.70 points to end at 788.80 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) shed 2.36% or 111.00 points to 4,589.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 256 to 187 and 96 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.97% or 0.68 to $70.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.92% or 0.68 to hit $74.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 7.60 to trade at $2,606.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.10% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.06% to 4.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 100.62.
