Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.36% or 33 points to trade at 1008 at the close. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) added 2.95% or 1.4 points to end at 48.8 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 1.80% or 85 points to 4812 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 2.90% or 15.2 points to trade at 509.2 in late trade. Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:ESLT) declined 2.89% or 1530 points to end at 51490 and Harel (TA:HARL) shed 2.85% or 70 points to 2382.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 229 to 182 and 7 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.20% or 0.11 to $54.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.12% or 0.07 to hit $60.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 4.55 to trade at $1276.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.27% to 3.5260, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 4.0983.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 94.53.
