Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 4.64% or 178.00 points to trade at 4,013.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.71% or 102.00 points to end at 2,854.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 3.05% or 2,220.00 points to 74,970.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which lost 2.75% or 153.00 points to trade at 5,402.00 in late trade. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) declined 2.31% or 21.70 points to end at 919.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) shed 1.98% or 810.00 points to 40,030.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 240 to 168 and 126 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.18% or 0.80 to $68.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.94% or 0.67 to hit $71.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.07% or 1.85 to trade at $2,526.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.11% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 101.51.
