Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 6.10% or 2,100.00 points to trade at 36,500.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 4.40% or 287.00 points to end at 6,807.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.91% or 560.00 points to 14,890.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energix (TASE:ENRG), which lost 1.26% or 17.00 points to trade at 1,327.00 in late trade. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) declined 0.85% or 17.00 points to end at 1,983.00 and Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) shed 0.70% or 42.00 points to 5,999.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 326 to 121 and 92 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.66% or 1.28 to $78.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.78% or 1.42 to hit $81.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 11.90 to trade at $2,491.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.74% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS fell 0.99% to 4.05.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 102.76.
