Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 3.85% or 85 points to trade at 2290 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) added 3.55% or 266 points to end at 7760 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 3.54% or 4000 points to 116900 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 2.06% or 530 points to trade at 25250 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.89% or 25 points to end at 1300 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) shed 1.14% or 210 points to 18210.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 255 to 123 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.72% or 0.51 to $71.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.30% or 0.24 to hit $80.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.00 to trade at $1221.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.6242, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 4.1894.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 94.94.
