Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.14% or 63 points to trade at 1288 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 4.44% or 2760 points to end at 64990 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.46% or 27 points to 1125 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Liveperson (TA:LPSN), which lost 2.15% or 197 points to trade at 8987 in late trade. Leumi (TA:LUMI) declined 0.83% or 20 points to end at 2395 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) shed 0.76% or 63 points to 8237.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 204 to 194 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.17% or 0.13 to $75.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.37% or 0.31 to hit $85.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1205.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.58% to 3.6271, while EUR/ILS fell 0.70% to 4.1837.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 95.23.
