Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.23% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which rose 6.71% or 1,150.00 points to trade at 18,280.00 at the close. Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT) added 3.58% or 204.00 points to end at 5,899.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 2.80% or 13.90 points to 509.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which lost 4.90% or 540.00 points to trade at 10,490.00 in late trade. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 2.53% or 810.00 points to end at 31,190.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) shed 1.93% or 590.00 points to 30,050.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 278 to 178 and 83 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $68.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $71.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.25 to trade at $2,611.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.03% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 106.15.
