Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 4.75% or 113 points to trade at 2491 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 3.84% or 810.0 points to end at 21910.0 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 2.01% or 22 points to 1119 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 1.54% or 8.0 points to trade at 512.0 in late trade. Poalim (TA:POLI) declined 1.45% or 36 points to end at 2445 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) shed 1.40% or 26 points to 1833.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 229 to 187 and 11 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.73% or 0.38 to $51.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.77% or 0.45 to hit $57.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.58% or 7.59 to trade at $1303.91 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.19% to 3.5280, while EUR/ILS fell 0.46% to 4.1520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 92.98.
