Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Trade, Consumer Industry and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which rose 24.80% or 155.00 points to trade at 780.00 at the close. Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA) added 23.83% or 92 points to end at 478 and Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk (JK:APII) was up 20.00% or 50 points to 300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which lost 25.00% or 57 points to trade at 171 in late trade. Bank Mestika Dharma Tbk (JK:BBMD) declined 24.76% or 380 points to end at 1155 and PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) shed 10.83% or 85 points to 700.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 217 to 127 and 101 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.22% or 0.11 to $50.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.77% or 0.43 to hit $56.23 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.11 to trade at $1280.91 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 13451.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.38% to 10547.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 93.34.
