Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.69% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK), which rose 33.80% or 24 points to trade at 95 at the close. Protech Mitra Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:OASA) added 24.35% or 56 points to end at 286 and Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI) was up 23.88% or 107 points to 555 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN), which lost 18.42% or 93 points to trade at 412 in late trade. Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) declined 17.65% or 48 points to end at 224 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) shed 10.86% or 95 points to 780.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 251 to 109 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.36% or 0.23 to $64.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.22% or 0.15 to hit $69.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.11% or 14.70 to trade at $1342.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.01% to 13772.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.06% to 10604.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 89.31.
