Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk PT (JK:CITA), which rose 1,125.00% or 2,250.00 points to trade at 2,450.00 at the close. Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Pt (JK:SAMF) added 566.67% or 680.00 points to end at 800.00 and Colorpak Indonesia Tbk (JK:CLPI) was up 435.00% or 870.00 points to 1,070.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN), which lost 99.90% or 6,793.00 points to trade at 7.00 in late trade. Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk PT (JK:BLTA) declined 99.74% or 8,478.00 points to end at 22.00 and Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) shed 99.31% or 9,683.00 points to 67.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 375 to 293 and 167 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.44% or 0.34 to $77.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.35% or 0.28 to hit $80.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 9.95 to trade at $2,545.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.39% to 15,527.05, while AUD/IDR rose 0.52% to 10,528.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 100.74.
