Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Manufacturing and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN), which rose 28.24% or 48 points to trade at 218 at the close. Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) added 25.00% or 76 points to end at 380 and Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) was up 25.00% or 76 points to 380 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA), which lost 20.69% or 24 points to trade at 92 in late trade. Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (JK:PUDP) declined 14.84% or 95 points to end at 545 and Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (JK:DGIK) shed 13.04% or 9 points to 60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 202 to 113 and 134 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $48.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.17 to hit $52.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.08 to trade at $1292.68 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 13352.2, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 10588.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 93.43.
