Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Trade and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.77%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (JK:SRIL), which rose 14.73% or 47 points to trade at 366 at the close. Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo (JK:SOBI) added 13.64% or 300 points to end at 2500 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was up 10.09% or 165 points to 1800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT), which lost 14.14% or 43.00 points to trade at 261.00 in late trade. Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) declined 11.11% or 8 points to end at 64 and Smart Tbk (JK:SMAR) shed 9.41% or 470 points to 4525.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 179 to 141 and 50 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.65% or 0.37 to $56.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.71% or 0.44 to hit $61.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.10 to trade at $1167.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 13331.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.81% to 10006.05.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.20% at 96.09.
