Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Miscellaneous Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE), which rose 33.93% or 19.00 points to trade at 75.00 at the close. Smartfren Telecom Tbk (JK:FREN) added 26.92% or 14 points to end at 66 and Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS) was up 24.86% or 92 points to 462 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK), which lost 23.48% or 62 points to trade at 202 in late trade. Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (JK:DSSA) declined 20.00% or 2600.00 points to end at 10400.00 and Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) shed 19.03% or 1675 points to 7125.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 183 to 181 and 122 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.37% or 0.92 to $66.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.41% or 1.02 to hit $71.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1346.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13780.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10655.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 89.28.
