Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining, Financials and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.24% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG), which rose 34.04% or 32 points to trade at 126 at the close. Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (JK:GDYR) added 24.57% or 430.00 points to end at 2180.00 and Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (JK:OMRE) was up 22.68% or 305.00 points to 1650.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI), which lost 24.79% or 59 points to trade at 179 in late trade. Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) declined 16.67% or 42 points to end at 210 and Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) shed 16.00% or 400.00 points to 2100.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 195 to 162 and 113 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.36% or 0.23 to $63.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.20% or 0.14 to hit $69.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1318.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.51% to 13379.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.78% to 10633.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 92.19.
