Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Household and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Austriacard Holdings AG (AT:ACAGr), which rose 4.11% or 0.22 points to trade at 5.57 at the close. Alumil (AT:ALMr) added 4.04% or 0.15 points to end at 3.73 and Lamda Develop (AT:LMDr) was up 1.94% or 0.14 points to 7.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr), which lost 3.88% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.31 in late trade. Gr Sarantis SA (AT:SRSr) declined 3.69% or 0.40 points to end at 10.44 and Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr) shed 3.18% or 0.06 points to 1.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 36 and 23 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.07% or 1.90 to $2,574.80 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.33% or 0.23 to hit $68.47 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.33% or 0.24 to trade at $72.32 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.33% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 106.69.
