Investing.com – Greece equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction, Travel and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite added 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr), which rose 6.02% or 0.16 points to trade at 2.73 at the close. Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr) added 5.26% or 0.20 points to end at 4.00 and Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr) was up 2.86% or 0.05 points to 1.62 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intralot (AT:INLr), which lost 2.60% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.94 in late trade. Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr) declined 1.70% or 0.15 points to end at 8.68 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr) shed 1.47% or 0.01 points to 0.34.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 63 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.44% or 11.45 to $2,606.25 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.26% or 0.18 to hit $68.22 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.28% or 0.20 to trade at $72.03 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.39% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 105.89.
