Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 1.20% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 0.87% or 0.09 points to trade at 9.90 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) fell 0.06% or 0.01 points to end at 16.65 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was down 0.28% or 0.12 points to 42.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM), which lost 4.83% or 3.85 points to trade at 75.90 in late trade. Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) declined 2.46% or 0.27 points to end at 10.72 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 2.26% or 0.98 points to 42.46.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 129 to 44 and 12 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.99% or 0.85 to $84.90 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.91% or 0.75 to hit $81.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.15 to trade at $2,369.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.83.
